JUSTICE MUST MEAN THE SAME FOR EVERYONE
We were told the justice system in this country was blind. That it didn’t care where you were born, how much money you had, or who your parents were. That it saw only actions, not identity. We believed that. Some of us still want to.
But under your watch, that trust has crumbled. You’ve made a mockery of fairness. You’ve let the public lose faith in the very thing that keeps society from falling apart.
And worse — you’ve convinced people to point fingers sideways instead of upwards. To blame whole communities while you cover for abusers in your own ranks.
Let’s look at where you’ve taken us.
Problems
An Unaccountable Sentencing Council
You’ve allowed an unelected body to draft sentencing guidelines that treat people differently depending on their identity — race, religion, background. Who are these people? Who do they answer to? Not us. That has to change.
CPS Charging Decisions Make No Sense
Time and time again, the Crown Prosecution Service drops or waters down charges in high-profile cases with clear evidence. Try explaining that to the public. Try telling them why two brothers can batter officers on camera and still walk away with a caution. You won’t. Because you can’t.
Inconsistent Sentencing Has Broken Trust
One man is jailed for contempt of court and spends a year in solitary. Others are given suspended sentences for child abuse. Ask about it, and you’re labelled “extreme.” But these are fair questions. And when asking fair questions becomes taboo — you don’t have a justice system anymore.
Solutions
One Law for All — No Exceptions
No more race-based sentencing. No more religious or cultural exemptions. No more “contextual considerations” that excuse crimes based on background. You commit the crime, you face the sentence — same as anyone else. That’s justice.
AI-Powered CPS Audits
We will implement AI-assisted audits of CPS decisions — reviewing which cases are prosecuted, which are dropped, and whether patterns of bias exist. If you’re too afraid to question the CPS, we’ll do it for you.
Public Oversight of the Sentencing Council
No more shadow rulemaking. We’ll introduce formal oversight, public scrutiny, and the power to remove members who impose unfair sentencing guidelines. If you refuse to make them answerable to the people, you will be replaced.
And Just So We're Clear…
We don’t ignore the crimes of “Ahmed from Rochdale.” He’s not off the hook. But he’s also not the whole damn coat rack.
Justice that only sees the brown abuser — but not the white one in a suit, a pulpit, a classroom, or a courtroom — isn’t justice. It’s theatre.
We’re not playing your game. We’re coming for all of them. Ahmed, Andy and any in between.
If a child is harmed, we don’t ask about their background — and we don’t ask about the predator’s either. We ask, what are the facts? What is the sentence? And how do we make sure it never happens again?
This policy doesn’t care what god you believe in, what flag your granddad flew, or how much money you’ve got in the bank. It cares that children are safe, predators are punished, and trust is restored.
If you can’t deliver that, then move aside. We will.
