Immigrants,
We believe in fairness. Not special treatment. Not easy handouts. Fairness.
That’s why if you have not contributed, you will not have access to our welfare system.
This is not an attack. It is a fundamental principle of how a country should work, and many do already.
The British people have paid into this system for their entire lives. Their parents did before them. Their grandparents did before that. They built this welfare net with their labour, their taxes, their trust.
And yet, in its current state, our system is being stretched beyond reason. People who have worked for decades are being told there isn’t enough to go around—while those who have just arrived are granted access to public funds after only a few years. You know that’s not fair; you don’t even need me to explain it here.
So, we are going to fix it. So that it can remain in place as a safety net, for both our children and yours, and their children after them. As it was always meant to be.
If you came to the UK to work, build a future, and contribute, then this does not affect you at all. If you came here expecting to live off our welfare system, then you will be disappointed.
This is not cruelty. It is common sense. A nation cannot function if people take before they give.
And if any politician tries to tell you otherwise? They are lying to you.
If you build a life here, we will stand by you. If you try to exploit our system, the door will be shut.
That is not hatred.
That is not extremism.
That is what many of the safest nations on earth do.
And now, the UK will be doing the same. Nothing personal.
