AUDITING THE JUDICIAL SYSTEM

How many of you feel as though our justice system is unfair? How many of you think that justice is applied differently depending on this skin colour we were born with, or what religion we follow? The government seems to believe none of you feel like that. We know different. And we know, because we have listened to you, all of you.

We listened so much that it enabled us to come up with the solutions. Something beyond our current crop of political players. Let’s show them once again, how to fix problems with solutions, shall we?

Problems

  • Sentencing Council wants to officially sentence us differently based on our identity

They aren’t even trying to hide it anymore. They want it official, codifying in law, that the people of this land will once again be sentenced differently based upon their skin colour, religion, etc. This is a massive problem.

  • Sentencing is Inconsistent and Lacks Accountability

Faith that CPS works fairly is dissipating quick. There are so many questions. Why did they make that charging decision? Is it because they are the same identity as those they are trying to protect from fair law? These questions cannot be allowed to fester in society.

  • Lack of faith in a justice system

A cornerstone of every civilised society is faith in the justice system. We surrendered our right to personal vengeance and retribution to those who have harmed us, on the promise that a fair law would instead punish offenders instead. The public MUST be allowed to believe this is still the case.

Solutions

  • Sentencing Council Accountability

Rip that Sentence Council guideline up right now and replace it with a law that makes it clear - our skin colour, religious affiliation, gender, or any other characteristic we have we never be used as a reason to grant unfairness in the eyes of the law.

  • AI-Assisted CPS Charging Audits and Public Transparency Reports

AI-powered audits will assess CPS charging patterns, ensuring that prosecutions are based on evidence and severity, not politics. An annual Justice Transparency Report will compile sentencing trends, CPS decisions, and case outcomes. This report will be publicly available, ensuring justice is not just done, but seen to be done. Anyone found to be applying charging disproportionately to certain groups will be removed from their role.

  • Sort out the Sentencing Guidelines Committee

Who even are these people that are unanswerable to the government whilst also being unanswerable to the people? Why were they ever allowed to propose such a disgusting proposal, and why is there no option for us to replace them with people who will apply the law fairly to all? This all needs changing.

We don’t need to guess what happens when faith in justice is destroyed. We see it in the people who flee their own broken systems, desperately seeking a country where law still means something. No one here wants to live in that kind of chaos. No one wants to see our justice system pushed to the point where lawlessness feels like the only option.

So, let’s do this review. Let’s make sure we never have to learn firsthand what happens when justice collapses. Let’s ensure that our system is strong, fair, and worthy of the people who depend on it.
