Frequently Asked Questions
Who are you?
We are The Wise Party. The person answering these questions is the founder. I am just a person, no one special, I could be you. Have you ever watched a politician speak and wondered why they dance around the obvious sensible answer? Have you sighed as they dodge yet another direct question? Have you ever been outraged, asking yourself why they seem more concerned with protecting those who harm children than the children themselves? If you have, then I am you.
Who I am isn't important, the ideas and what this party represents are what is important.
What does your party stand for?
Our party stands for justice, accountability, and the protection of the British people – especially its children. Anyone who harms a child will face the full force of the law, no loopholes, no leniency, only justice.
Some call for reform, but endless reforms have weakened the nation. Laws have softened, borders have crumbled, and trust in leadership is gone. We do not seek to tear things down, we will restore that which should have been strong all along.
A strong nation. Protected children. A system that serves the people, not itself.
Are you left-wing or right-wing?
This question assumes a party must be one or the other. We reject that framing. We take the best from both—strong welfare, transparency, and care for the elderly from the left; law and order, stronger borders, and national security from the right.
Essentially, the way we see it, much like an aeroplane, to progress and move forward properly, a government should use both wings. Using one wing means just going around in circles. And we’ve all had quite enough of that, haven’t we?
On Policies & Controversial Topics
Do you hate immigrants?
No.
Do you support LGBT rights?
We support the rights of all people. We don’t separate people into groups and decide which ones are “worthy” of support. We support LGBT rights, just as much as we support everybody else's.
Why are you restricting access to welfare?
So that it can be strengthened, enabling it to remain in place for future generations. It cannot be allowed to continue as the never-ending money pit it is now. But that brings a very hard choice, what should you cut? Pensioners? Children? The disabled? We believe we have found the fairest way in when it comes to restricting access – restriction is only decided on contribution history.
What do you mean by ‘one law for all’ in equality policies?
No one should be granted favour or punishment based on characteristics they were born with or beliefs they hold. The pendulum of politics always swings, today a group may be ostracised, tomorrow they may be protected and prioritised. This cycle of shifting privileges and disadvantages is what divides society.
We stand for permanent fairness. A system where the law applies equally, no matter which way the political winds blow. Your rights should not be determined by fleeting ideologies or political trends, but by an unwavering commitment to equality under the law.
We believe that is what you want too. Politicians have only muddied the water to make people think otherwise.
Are you bringing back the death penalty?
No. The party has no position on the death penalty, though our members are free to have their own personal opinion on the subject. We aren’t bringing back anything. We are just restricting the right of politicians to make that decision for us. The people will let us know what they want. And government shall follow. Its just simple democracy, really.
If you gain power, how will you stop yourself from becoming like the others?
The words I have written here aren’t just for you, they are for any future version of me that may wander off track. I don’t think that would happen though. I have no care for personal wealth, so I can’t be bought. By owning nothing, there is nothing I can lose, nothing that can be threatened to be taken away from me. I am not afraid, so they won’t be able to bully me or scare me into compromising my integrity.
But, I think the most important shield I have, is love. Everything I have done, everything I propose, is only out of love for my country and its people. I have been in love with both since a young girl. The love I have in my heart for you all will never allow me to betray you.
Who funds you? Are you backed by any big donors?
We rely on public support. If you share our values, we will gracefully accept your donation, no matter how big or small.
On Public Perception & Media Narratives
Are you anti-establishment?
No.
What are the ‘10 Demandments’ you gave to politicians?
Good question, thanks for noticing. The Demandments are 10 out of the 12 Promises our party makes to the public. To the public, these are the policies our party promises they will put in place. These promises include voluntary participation, in the elderly and parental policies. We couldn’t make them demands. But the rest? We promise you we will implement them, but we demand our government do it now.
How can I support you?
Many ways. You can become a member. You can just talk about us and our mission. You could ask your current MP why they haven't implemented any of the Demandments yet, and when they intend to. You can donate if you have the spare cash. You could vote for us whenever you have the option.
Most importantly: Be a good person. Protect children. Stand up for those unable to do so for themselves. If you do that, you’re already helping.
